Track PR Report

Timmonsville, SC(April 23, 2012) — Averitt Lucas picked up where he left off last weekend, right back in victory lane. Lucas started from the pole with Michael Elliott to his outside and checked out on the start. Lucas never faced a challenge and cruised to his second consecutive victory. Michael Elliott, who was fighting several issues with his car up until the start of the race came home second with Jarrett Smith making a late race pass on Strom Altman Jr to take the third spot. Rudy Branham would come home fifth after a entertaining battle with last years track champion Ronnie Daniels for the position.

Wayne Locklair started from the pole and cruised to victory in the Super Stock feature over Todd Amerson, Michael Coker, Merrick Driggers and Steve Barlette.

Bobby Tumbleston found victory last week, and returned their again this weekend. Tumbleston would have to work hard for the win this week as Mark Browning would take the lead earlier in the race with Tumbleston running right on his bumper for the majority of the event. A late race pass would find Tumbleston taking the win over Browning, Toby Milligan, Tommy Travelstead and Tony Hart.

The $10 All-Access pass will make its return next Saturday night! Go anywhere you would like for just $10. That includes the go-kart track, asphalt grandstands or pit area for only $10. Admission for drivers will be $20 with no entry fee or license required.

We’ll do it all again next Saturday night. The Late Models, Super Stock, Street Stocks, Stock 4 Cylinders, Bombers and Cruzer Bruzers will all be racing. Racing action will start at 8 PM.
