With the Commonwealth Classic just over a month away, the rules for the event have been released by Tech Director Mike Bushee.  Bushee and his crew will oversee all the Late Model Stock Car and Limited Late Model tech.

Late Model Stock Car Carburetor and Spacer Guidelines will follow the 2018 NASCAR LMSC Rulebook with the following Exceptions:

All built steel head engines will be allowed to compete with a 1″ tapered spacer. Must be aluminum and the carburetor must be centered on the intake.

No gear or RPM limitations will be in place for the event at Richmond Raceway.

Tech director may add or subtract weight and/or implement an RPM limit in the fairness of competition.

Shock & Spring Rules as follows:
One way adjustable shocks will be allowed.
No Cannister or Piggyback allowed.
No oversize Gas Chambers allowed.
Bump stopping on rear allowed.
Pigtailing of front springs allowed.

Tires will be Hoosier P48 compound.
