After a solid sophomore campaign and accumulating 15 top 5’s, 7 top 3’s, 1 win and a championship in the SELLM series, Anthony Alfredo and his team have decided to part ways heading into 2017.

Anthony started with LFR in 2014 and in two short years has developed into a contender week in and week out. In the teams last LMSC race together for 2016, Anthony qualified on the outside pole and ran in the top 3 until the engine expired at the Myrtle Beach 400 against the best in the country.

“We wish the best for Anthony as he moves on and continues to pursue his racing career,” team owner Michael Faulk said.  “We had a couple great years together and are very proud of his development. We feel that wherever he lands, he will land on his feet ready to win races for his new team right away. We have a lot of exciting stuff coming in the near future and we are now just looking ahead to continuing the development of our current roster as well as welcoming new additions to the team for 2017.”

There has been a great history behind the 5 car in the LFR stable. The team is currently interviewing qualified, funded drivers for the newly available seat for 2017. The team is looking for a talented driver to step in and immediately be a contender in the CARS tour as well as travelling NASCAR LMSC events.
