Florence Motor Speedway in Florence, South Carolina announced via their Facebook page on Monday night that they would not hold another asphalt event and would convert to a dirt track before their next event.
No timeline for the conversion of the track to dirt was given. Florence started out as a dirt track in 1982 when it was built but was converted to an asphalt race track in 1988.
