Cole Glasson, a rising star in the Late Model ranks, will drive for Lee Faulk Racing and Development in 2017.

Glasson, 16, from Rockwall, Texas, has spent the last four years developing in full bodied race cars with experience in the JEGS/CRA series, Southeast Super Truck Series, and last year in his season debut in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series. The teenager has started seeing some great success in the last 12 months with four poles, three wins, and over 20 top-fivess. In addition, he grabbed two UNOH Youth Achievement Awards in 2016.

“I am super excited to be joining Lee Faulk Racing for the 2017 season. I have had the opportunity to see their program up close the past three years and knew I wanted to drive for them at some point to continue my development,” Glasson said. “MPM Marketing provided several top notch opportunities for me this year and after meeting with them and discussing the opportunities, it was clear that LFR was the best place for me.”

Lee Faulk Racing and Development began operations in Florida and moved to Mooresville, N.C., in 2006. Since the move, LFR has grown from a single-car operation to a multi-car development team.

With names like Papis, Stenhouse, Fittipaldi, Piquet and many others behind the wheel, LFR has been able to build its brand and solidify its place at the top of the development industry.

“We have had the opportunity to watch Cole the last three years and his development has been great to watch. We are excited to finally have him at LFR and are looking forward to some great results from him and the rest of the LFR team this year,” LFR Vice President/Marketing Michael Faulk said.

LFR currently has development programs in Limited Late Models, Late Model Stocks and Super Late Models.
