Cole Glasson Foundation hits a new milestone surpassing the $71,000 mark of donations to various charities across the United States. “The fund was founded in 2008 on the premise of instilling positive values in young racers while giving back to the communities in which we race”, stated 16 year old Glasson. In late 2010, the fund rebranded itself under the direction of Cole Glasson Racing to broaden its reach for 2011 and beyond. With the renewed focus, the fund will be operating under the new mantra, “Impacting the future of the charities we touch”.

All funds flow through Austin Community Foundation where the grants are cut. This allows the charitable fund to keep overhead low while maintaining an experienced fund management staff and the ability to scale to a nationwide level.

The foundation is focused on finding charitable endeavors where Cole can impact the people he comes in contact with and to follow God’s path in making a positive impact. Cole feels he has been blessed to use his racing as his ministry to have positive long lasting relationships that begin on the track and impact people far away from the track.

To date, the fund has given back to 27 charities in 18 cities and 8 states:  Glenforest School for Autism (Lexington, SC), Muscular Dystrophy Association (Dallas, TX), Young Life – Fair Park (Dallas, TX), Kraddick Foundation (Dallas, TX), Lone Star CASA (Rockwall, TX), Ronald McDonald House (Dallas, TX), United Way of Denton County (Denton, TX) Young Life of Denton (Denton, TX) Wylde Life (Denton, TX), Boys and Girls Club of Collin County (Plano, TX), Texas CASA (Denton, TX) Voices for Children Foundation (Miami, FL) Child Advocates (Houston, TX),  Young Life (Rockwall, TX), CASA of Cleveland County (Norman, OK), Firewheel Bible Fellowship Haiti Childrens Fund (Garland, TX), Henry County Community Kids Fund (Indianapolis, IN) Legal Aide Society of Orange County (Orlando, FL) Pregnancy Resource Center (Rockwall, TX) Speak up for Kids (Palm Beach, FL), James Whitcomb Riley Memorial Association of Indiana LaSalle County (South Bend, IN) Children’s Advocacy Center of Illinois (Chicago, IL), Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center (Milwaukee, WI) Angel Heart’s Childrens Shelter of Texas (Austin, TX) Voices for Children (Salt Lake City, UT), American Red Cross (Dallas, TX), KLTY Christmas Wish (Irving, TX)
