Client PR Report

Pounding Mill, VA(October 15, 2012) – Adam Long has found victory lane three times this season at Kingsport Speedway. Now, he’s hoping to find victory lane in late model stock car racing’s biggest stage. Long was crowned “King of the Concrete Jungle” earlier this season at Kingsport Speedway.

Long is now looking to Martinsville Speedway, hoping to have a breakout performance at the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300.

“We’ve got a great car and crew,” Long said. “Martinsville’s the toughest race of the year because the best of the best are there. I’m really hoping we can go out and make a statement that we belong with the elite list of drivers. With the new format, we’ll have to race hard and keep our nose clean during the heat races. Hopefully everything goes our way on Sunday.”

Long was 22nd quickest during open testing at Martinsville earlier this month with a 20.811 second lap around the half-mile oval. Now, he’s hoping to ride his successful season at Kingsport in to Martinsville and make the field for the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300.

Long picked up his first career victory on June 8th at Kingsport Speedway and will be a driver to watch at Martinsville on Sunday.

The Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 runs on Sunday, October 21, 2012.

Long is supported by Tru-line Pipeline, Inc., CNX Gas and Hedgecock Racing Enterprises. For more information on Adam Long Racing, please check out the team website at http://www.adamlongracing.com/ or follow them on twitter @adamlongracing.
