Episode 7 of RACE22 Radio will hit the airwaves on Monday night, March 4th at 6:00pm and will feature a CARS Tour themed preview show on the week of their season-opening event at Southern National Motorsports Park. This will be a special three-hour episode from 6-9:00pm.

We’ll start off the night with CARS Tour Owner Jack McNelly. McNelly will get into some deep conversation about the previous four seasons of the Late Model Stock Car and Super Late Model tours and help us preview the upcoming season.

The show will also feature several CARS Tour competitors including the most recent winner at South Boston Speedway last November, Craig Moore. Moore will give the RACE22 Radio listeners an inside look at what it takes to compete on the tour as a budget driver and what it felt like to overcome the odds and win a race against the best drivers in Late Model Stock Car racing.

2018 CARS Tour Super Late Model champion Jared Fryar will join us to talk about his title-winning season as well as his defense of the title and what he expects during the 2019 season. Fryar comes from a long lineage of racers from his grandfather Freddie to his father Marc and we’ll ask him about the expectations on him with such a rich history in his family.

2018 CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Rookie of the Year runner up Brandon Pierce, who was also named RACE22.com’s Most Improved Driver will join the RACE22 Radio crew to talk about his 2019 season expectations. During the off-season, Pierce moved from Nelson Motorsports to Lee Pulliam Performance and will have Pulliam, who was a two-time winner in 2018, as his crew chief for the season ahead.

Tony Stevens from CARStour.tv and Pit Row TV will join us to discuss what he does with the CARS Tour to bring the races to any fan with internet access across the country through their pay-per-view streaming platform.  We’ll discuss with him what goes into making those streams happen and what new things you can expect to see this season.

Other guests could be added to the lineup before Monday night as we work to bring you a complete preview of the CARS Tour season and the season opener, which will take place on Saturday, March 9th at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC.

RACE22 Radio host and founder of RACE22.com, Langley Austin along with his co-hosts Roger Johnson and “Crazy” Corey Latham will also talk about the upcoming season for CARS Tour and recap the Winter Meltdown from Greenville Pickens Speedway and the regular season opener at Myrtle Beach Speedway which take place this weekend.
