Caraway Speedway’s Darren and Renee Hackett announced today the creation of a new touring series aimed at weekly racers in the Southeast.

The Mid-Atlantic Limited Late Model Series (M.A.L.L.S) will give competitors the opportunity to travel to different tracks on a reasonable budget.  The new series will be made up of a nine race schedule at five different race tracks.  Each M.A.L.L.S event will pay $1,200 to win, while scuffed Hoosier F45s will be the official tire for the new series.

“I have spoken with several drivers and teams about the M.A.L.L.S and they are excited to once again be able to afford to travel to different tracks,” said Renee Hackett.  “Darren and I feel as if this will give the teams a cheap alternative to gain experience at other tracks and expand their fan base.”

The series will conform to the Caraway Speedway Limited Late Model rules posted on their website.  This package is similar to rules being utilized at Hickory, Motor Mile, South Boston, Dillon, Orange County and Southern National.

The first M.A.L.L.S event will be on Saturday, March 19 at Concord Speedway.  Other tracks hosting M.A.L.L.S events in 2016 include, Caraway Speedway, Ace Motor Speedway, Wake County Speedway, and Tri-County Motor Speedway.   Points will be awarded throughout the season for the entire nine race series and the inaugural M.A.L.L.S champion will be crowned at the season finale on Saturday, November 5 at Concord Speedway as part of the 14th Annual North-South Shootout.

Rules for the Mid-Atlantic Limited Late Model Series can be found at carawayspeedway.com.  For technical questions, please contact David Saunders at 434-222-0437.  For all other inquiries related to M.A.L.L.S, please contact Renee Hackett at 336-302-5803.
