The CARS Tour announced via their Facebook page that Mike Bushee and David Ifft would be the Chief Technical Inspectors of the Late Model and Super Late Model tours during the 2016 season.

Bushee takes over for Greg Harvey on the Late Model Stock Car tour. Harvey announced via his personal Facebook page that he had resigned his position with CARS due to medical issues with his wife.

Bushee comes to the CARS Tour with a lot of experience and a lifetime of racing in his blood. Bushee has worked as a tech inspector at many tracks and with countless series such as Southern National Motorsports Park, MASS Street Stocks and many more.

Ifft will assume the same role for the Super Late Model portion of the CARS Tour. Ifft has also spent nearly his entire life in motorsports. He served as crew chief for Darrell Waltrip in 1976 and worked with other great drivers such as Benny Parsons, Cale Yarbrough, Bobby Hamilton and others.

Both these guys bring a tremendous amount of experience to the CARS Tour and will help shape the future of the series as they put their stamp on it in 2016.
